What customers say?

“ Best Fried Kway Teow with wok taste by Malaysian chef. Really yummy. Fish and chips were nice too. Lightly battered. The Singapore fried noodle is quite off, not anything like the original but the cha kway teow shadows it all . Will come back again! ”

“ My husband and I decided to try out this local restaurant and were really pleasantly surprised by how good the food was! The char kuay teow and nasi goreng were flavourful and had an authentic “wok hay”. The oysters were also very juicy and sweet (much better than the ones I had a Queen Victoria market!). The yuzu sauce was an absolutely perfect pairing with the oysters! What a hidden gem with an affordable price tag to boot. Our host Guan Guan was also incredibly attentive and friendly despite it being busy. ”

“ Hands down the best fish and chips down here. Do make the extra drive. Servings are generous, great price, Crispy but soft chips and you don’t walk away feeling too greasy. 6 stars. ”

“ Have been around the neighborhood for around three months and if not daily, I’ve been enjoying the food from Blue Fin for almost most of the time. Here are some meals that I would definitely recommend:) For starters, Tempura prawn&vegetables is a MUST! I’ll never get tired of the crunchy texture and wonderful taste! I’d really love to try okonomiyaki, the Japanese pancake, yet I don’t get the chance to try, which is so sad! ( secret tip: they don’t put it on the summer menu, but you can always ask for it, also the Nasu Denkagu!) For rice and noodle dishes, I’ll go for Wagyu beef don for sure, I’m more of a sweet tooth so if you’re more into neutral flavor, Wonton noodle soup will always be a good choice especially as it’s getting cold. ( Deluxe bento box is a pro version of the don, try it if you like the don) For mains, Wassabi Beef!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll never forget! But others are pretty good too! Butter prawn, ginger garlic and spring onion and scallops are all sooooooo good!!!!! You can always give it a huge trust and wait to be surprised! For fish&chips I’ve always heard people saying it’s the best they’ve ever had. I was born in a more rice-based country, I shouldn’t be the one to get to really judge, but I love the fried and grilled fish also the burger is really good! I would say it’s really hard to decide which one to order! Anyway! This is a shop you don’t want to miss and I would love love to be back again sometime in the future! ”

“ We ate in, ordering flake, chips, dim sims and potato cakes. Lovely staff. The fried flake was superb-lightly crumbed and evenly cooked, best I’ve ever had. Chips fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. A complimentary green salad came with the fish and was so tasty! Definitely coming back. Well priced. ”

“ I haven't tried the menu options but from the sound of other reviews, it is good. I have tried their sashimi and sushi rolls and the quality is superb - it's really fresh and really well presented. It is really clean and the staff are pretty friendly. Great place!! ”

“ I ordered Barramundi fish with no chips.the fish was very fresh, tasted fantastic. Small portion of greens or salad with fish would be epic. Beer was warm. Overall good food, easy vibes. ”

“ Got a salmon sushi and it was STUFFED with salmon. The salmon tasted fresh, and probably one of the best salmon sushi in Melbourne i’ve had thus far. Also, all the staff at the restaurant were helpful and so nice! We had a great experience through & through, thanks! Featuring my 没皮 fish! ”
